I became interested in endodontics in my second year after graduation. It fascinated me that such a small tissue like the dental pulp can be the major cause of dental symptoms. We have come a long way in learning to respect the dental pulp, from the time of 'extension for prevention' to the present day 'minimally invasive dentistry'. However, root canal treatment still plays a big role in the maintenance of a healthy smile.
Being married to a Kiwi, I have made Canterbury my home. With 2 teenage daughters, life outside dentistry is always busy.

I have been a dental assistant for the past 18 years. Having worked in general dentistry and oral surgery, I have found my passion in endodontics. Assisting in endodontics is very systematic and orderly. I enjoy colour matching the files and organising them in the caddy ready to be used.
In my free time, I love travelling. I have visited many countries in Europe and the USA. Combining my love for cycling and travelling, I have done the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia. Cycling around the beautiful countrysides and some of the biggest mountain passes in Europe is a good way of discovering a country.
I have a nursing background and have worked in a similar position in the medical industry for the past 15 years. I am delighted to have joined K Endodontics and enjoy being part of the team. Working with people is my passion and I enjoy meeting new people.
I look forward to being able to help and provide a high quality of service to all patients.
